The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) start on the Device Identification Registration and Blocking System (DIRBS) to make sure the use of legal devices on mobile networks in all over Pakistan. The completion of DIRBS, only those mobile will work who are standard by PTA and are bought through legal means. You need your cell phone IMEI Number to get your device register in PTA.
How to Check IMEI No ?

Go to About
Scroll Down, there you will see your Mobile Phone IMEI
IMEI is printed on the mobile phone device box and also printed on the mobile for removing the back cover. In order to PTA register, the mobiles, write IMEI of your cell phone and send it to 8484, to register IMEI Number In PTA, there are subsequent ways a user can register the mobile. IMEI stands for International Mobile Equipment individuality and the dependability of any cell phone can be check through IMEI.

Go to dirbs.pta(dot)gov.pk/drs to open Device Registration Portal.
If you don’t have an account, click on Sign Up.
After clicking on Sign Up, you will see a form. Fill out all the details required to complete the form.
First, select the purpose and user type.
In purpose, you will select personal/individual for mobile/tablet PCs and in user type, you will select local or foreigner.
Add all details your email, passport number, phone number and your address to complete the signup procedure.
You will receive an email with confirmation link. Click on it to confirm your account.
Now log in to your new account.
After logging in, you will see a declaration window and on the left side, you will see individual COC option. Click on apply for COC.
Now enter your cell device IMEI number and your contact number.
You will receive a text from PTA if you have to pay the tax for your cell phone or not.
