Locally Assembled Proton Saga Features, Pictures, Review

A couple of weeks, we told you that Al-Haj Automotive/Proton Pakistan has started the local assembly of Proton Saga as CKD kits arrived from Malaysia. Furthermore, the delivery of the car was started from the first week of November. The recent launches of some B-Segment Sedans such as Honda City, Toyota Yaris, and Changan Alsvin have been received well by the car buyers, but due to the rising prices, there has been a gap in the market especially after the discontinuation of the Suzuki Swift — whereby the customers struggle to find a ‘strong value’ in the A-Segment vehicle.

Locally Assembled Proton Saga 2022

The statement is odd because most companies reduce options in CKD variants against the CBU ones in Pakistan. The vehicle is offered in three variants: Standard Manual, Standard Auto, and Premium Auto. The company began assembling the Proton Saga locally over two weeks ago and its first locally assembled unit was revealed to the public at the inauguration ceremony of the Al-Haj Proton’s local assembly plant.
