PSL Sponsors
The title sponsor for PSL, from its very first inaugural edition to today and even in the future, is HBL. Habib Bank Limited invested $5.2 million into the first-ever PSL in 2016 as a 3-year deal. After the contract expired in 2018, the bank decided to return as the title sponsor, but this time they almost tripled the per-year sponsorship amount to $14.3 million. As this 3-year contract expired in 2021, HBL renewed it for the 2nd time and they will remain the title sponsor for the event till 2025. Once again, the yearly sponsorship amount rose, resting now at a staggering $22.2 million. A table illustrating this data is given below.
Title Sponsor | Period | Sponsorship amount (per year) |
HBL | 2016-2018 | PKR 54.4 Crore |
HBL | 2019-2021 | PKR 214.8 Crore |
HBL | 2022-2025 | PKR 391.7 Crore |
The title sponsor may be contributing the greatest amount, but the many other official partners and team sponsors also contribute significantly. It is estimated that the sponsorship deals associated with the league, including the title sponsor; HBL, are worth more than $6 million. The official sponsors for the HBL PSL are J., OPPO phones, Brighto Paints, and Jubilee. The remaining partners are as follows:
- Pk
- Ariel
- Pepsi
- Inverex
- Tapal Tea
- TransGroup
- Head & Shoulders
- Blitz International
Though the above-mentioned partners apply to the whole event, the 6 PSL franchises, the teams, Quetta Gladiators, Lahore Qalandars, Islamabad United, Multan Sultans. Karachi Kings, and Peshawar Zalmi, are all owned by separate corporations with their team sponsors. You can visit following links for that
