Sazgar, the major rikshaw-maker in Pakistan is set to enter the car market through BAIC D20 that has a hatchback and a sedan version. Sazgar plans to launch a crossover X25 and an off-roader SUV BJ40-Plus. The Pakistan Government has freshly rolled out the Electric Vehicle Policy that give tax and duty incentives to company entering the EV business.
This appears to be quite an imposing vehicle through premium features as well as strange functionality. The company may found selling its locally assembled cars inside next 3 months and intends to start on at least 4 vehicles inside this year which also includes the sedan derivative of D20 as the cheapest new sedan in the market.
There appears to be no end to this and it is for a superior reason. Developments are creature made in the automotive industry itself and the world is also considering this advancement. BAIC is one of the main Chinese automakers that is apparently set to make an entrance in Pakistan in partnership through Sazgar Engineering Works Limited (SEWL).
